Please take time to read the following so that you understand what we can both expect when dealing with each other.

POSTAGE, PACKING AND DELIVERY
The shopping cart calculates the appropriate postage according to the total weight of an order.

Postage charges are:

UK: 10% of order value. Min £2. Max £15.

Europe: 15% of order value. Min £3. Max £25. Airmail.

Rest of the World: 25% of order value. Min £3. Airmail.

“Europe” includes any continental European country as defined by the Royal Mail, and therefore excludes the UK but includes many non-EU countries.

The percentage rate applies to the full order value before any discounts are applied. Deductions will be made from the order to cover any shortfall in postage and packing.

SAFETY
Waterloo To Mons Miniatures are cast in white metal. White metal items may contain lead, which is dangerous if chewed or swallowed. Please be sensible when handling the figures, wash your hands afterwards and certainly before eating, drinking, smoking etc. The figures may also have sharp points or edges, which can injure if handled incorrectly. Similarly cast metal figures will have mould lines from the manufacturing process. For best results these will require a level of cleaning up. Please be careful when using modelling knives and files.

These figures are not intended as toys. They are not suitable for persons under the age of 14 years.

GENERAL
Painted figures shown on this site are for display purposes only. All items are sold unpainted and unassembled.

Mounted figures are supplied with appropriate horses. Riders and horses are not sold separately.

For your safety and convenience you can pay online via debit card, credit card or Paypal. All card processing is undertaken via Paypal.

Alternatively I will accept cheques/postal orders (GBP only) made payable to M.Golding and sent to 102 Briarwood Drive, Leigh on Sea, Essex SS9 4LD, United Kingdom.

FIGURE VARIANTS
The figure themselves will often contain variants which are supplied at random. Waterloo To Mons Miniatures cannot supply specific variants nor accept orders conditional on supplying specific variants.

OUT OF STOCK
While every effort is made to keep sufficient stock it may arise that figures are temporarily out of stock. You will be advised if this occurs. It may take up to 4 weeks for additional figures to arrive from the moulder.

CONFIRMATION OF ONLINE ORDERS
Customers will be sent written confirmation by email that their order has been received. Confirmation that an order has been received does not constitute acceptance of that order. Waterloo To Mons reserves the right not to supply items where errors arise in the price, code or description in the shop, if mail order customers provide insufficient payment or orders appear fraudulent.

CREDIT CARD ORDERS
We cancel and refund all orders if the issuing country of the credit card differs from the country in the cardholder's address. This is because such transactions most commonly prove to be fraudulent.

SHIPPING TIMES
Our aim is for orders for which all items are in stock will be dispatched within seven days of ordering. This may sometimes be subject to delays resulting from holidays, work etc. (I am in full time employment with a young family and so anything can happen-and usually does!).

LOST PARCELS
In the rare event that a parcel goes astray in the post, we issue a full refund. We do not send duplicates of orders that go missing.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
For your protection all items ordered by mail order are subject to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which means  customers can change their mind and cancel or return an order within seven working days of receipt without giving a reason. Customers must return goods supplied to them if they cancel an order.

Customers must take good care of goods they receive and return unwanted items in good condition. Customers that do not return unwanted items in good condition are liable for the cost of such items. Customers must return goods at their own expense.

Figures that are damaged in transit will be replaced.

If an item is returned because it has not been collected in time from the Sorting Office, we will cancel the order and make a full refund. The Royal Mail can take three to eight weeks to return a package in the UK. You should receive an automated notification from the payment processor advising of a refund.

If you have a query about your order, or in the unlikely event of a complaint, please contact us by email in the first instance. Should I be unable to answer your query I will supply additional contact details.

CONFIDENTIAL DATA
Confidential data is information collected from this site. It is held off site in a database as part of our online shop. Confidential data is exactly what it says... Confidential. We will not pass on this information to any other person or organisation, nor use it in marketing. Waterloo To Mons is about enjoying your hobby and not inundating you with unwanted rubbish!

SAMPLES
To receive samples, please send a cheque for £5.00 along with an indication of any preferred figures in which you are interested. We will send a selection of figures if available.
